For fifteen years or so I was in the advertising and trade show business along the Gulf Coast, headquartered in Baton Rouge mostly, but also with offices in Florida and Houston, New Orleans and West Palm Beach. By clicking on the links to the right you can see some of the highlights of my career in this industry. It was sometimes great, at other times frustrating beyond belief. But somehow I got to do a lot, and my name is all over the place in the region during the 1985 to 2000 time frame. I won an Addy Award, and I had articles written about me. I helped a lot of companies become players. I sold a lot of advertising and trade show booths. I had a radio show. I went to a lot of places, and explored the region far more than most natives. I met thousands of people and was quite a junior level mucky muck. If anyone did any research on the business history of the region at that time they could not help but to come across my name. Though why anyone would I can't be sure. But there's enough material from my perspective for a dozens novels about the bizarre nature of the modern world.
