Economic Theory
Communism is that alleged state of harmony and bliss which Karl
Marx called the inevitable end of history.  Instead, since the basic
mathematics that underly his theory were mush, and the basic
misunderstanding of human nature were legion, the system was doomed
to failure from the beginning.  Communism, in fact, isn't much different
than the subsistence level of agriculture of thousands of years ago.  A
place were people did "according to their ability" and got "according to
their needs."  As the technology got better the forces at work actually
compelled the leading communists to kill anyone in their way because
the idea, while having some admittedly great slogans, is in fact totally
unworkable.

Even more odd, when you start to pull apart the structure of it, and
not just as practiced in the old Soviet Union, you find that what Marx
was writing about the future wasn't all that different than the
aristocratic era he was living in.  He just substituted one set of words
for another, but did nothing to alter the theory and the mathematic
dynamics of the society he lived in.

What was the new proletariat, ruled by committees, weren't that
much different in practice than the work gangs of serfs ruled by the
lord and his family.  Every one gave to his ability in the 12th century
and everyone got to his need.  Changing the mere names of the ideas,
didn't lessen the ideas.
