Elections

Elections result in the best decision when random and uncontrolled.

Elections with one choice are not elections, but forced conclusions

Elections can only be fair if they decide about your own interests; they cannot be fair if they
take someone else's goods, life, liberty or property, which is merely thievery by ballot

Ballots must be secret to be fair, open ballots allow for force and collusion by the powerful
against the less powerful within any given situation

Few want to cast the first vote in a non-secret ballot, except the person seeking to control
the second and third voters

No election to take away the freedom of an innocent person can be fair

No election to take away the life, liberty or property of any person can be fair
