State Violence

The  state always claims a monopoly on violence

State violence can be benign enforcement of the law to genocide

State violence is of two types, 1, the police force for internal control
2, the army for external control and the invasion of other
states

All states in recorded history were born of violence in some way, to some degree, either by
subjugating stateless people or invading other states only the size of the state and
technology have changed

A constitution is individual's collective effort to control, limit and channel state violence

States without functioning constitutions are more violent both internally and externally

The more absolute the power of royalty, or the state with whatever naming conventions, the
more state violence against the individual

State violence often needs only threat and display to be effective

State violence through the law and police power is mankind's attempt to control the
uncontrollably violent individuals -- and to a much lesser degree decide yes or no on some
intractable dispute between two or more individuals
