any time I came home,
this was my view
towards the south. The
blue building behind the
trees on the hill is a
maritime high school.
Many times I sat on this
sea wall and watched
the people play, surfers
surf, and just enjoyed
the fresh air.

with Ice Box hill in
the background,
called that
because before
refrigeration they
used the caves
inside to keep ice.

daily, and I
crossed this street
to the sidewalk
every day to walk
